clam bake

Ingredients
  • littleneck clams, 24
  • chicken breasts, 8
  • sweet potatoes, 4
  • corn on the cob, 4
  • celery, 2 long stalks
  • lobster tails, 4
  • butter, 1 tablespoon
  • water, 1 qt
Directions
  • Layer clams, chicken breasts, sweet potatoes, corn, and celery in a clam pot.
  • Add water and butter. Let boil at low heat for 60 to 90 minutes.
  • Add lobster tails. Let steam for another 20 minutes.
Serves 4.

  • Ingredients

    • butter, melted, 3 tablespoons
    • zwieback, crushed to crumbs, 1 box

  • Directions

    • Spread melted butter on 8.5" x 13" glass baking dish.
    • Spread crushed zwieback.



Center

  • Ingredients

    • cream cheese, 24 oz
    • eggs, 5
    • sugar, 1 cup
    • vanilla, 1.5 teaspoons

  • Directions

    • Cream all ingredients.
    • Spread over crust.
    • Bake at 300 degrees for 50 minutes.



Top

  • Ingredients

    • sour cream, 3 cups
    • sugar, 8 tablespoons
    • vanilla, 1.5 teaspoons

  • Directions

    • Spread over cream.
    • Bake at 300 degrees for 10 minutes.
    • Refrigerate before serving. Keeps well when refrigerated.


    Serves 24 when cut small, 12 when cut medium size.
